Frequently Asked Questions

When should I arrive?

Plan to arrive 20-30 minutes early to settle in, get a drink, and enjoy the atmosphere. Late arrivals disrupt the entire class, so if you think you will be more than 15 minutes late, you'll probably want to reschedule. We want everyone to have a fun night out, so please be considerate of your fellow artists by arriving in a timely manner. Thank you!

What should I wear?

Speaking of a fun night, please don't wear or bring valuable clothes, shoes or handbags. Although we provide aprons, and we use water-based acrylic, when paint dries, it DOES NOT come out of clothing, canvas or leather. Paint splashes and drips – please plan accordingly!

What if I’ve never painted before?

No worries! You don’t need any art experience to enjoy painting with us. The artist will guide you step by step through the entire process. You’ll leave with a finished piece of art that YOU have created! Our classes are great for novice or experienced painters alike. We believe that it's more about having fun than being perfect.

Can I just "sip" and hang out while I watch my friend/child paint?"

Every seat has an easel, a canvas, and a painting class fee, why not just paint? You’ll be glad you did! If you decide to not to paint, you're welcome to order a drink and snack from our bar, but we ask that you please stay in the back area of the studio for the duration of the class so as not to hinder the creativity of our painting guests and instructors.

Can I BYOB?

BYOB may be acceptable depending on the location of the event. Please inquire about your specfic event. You can also request that certain liquids be served as part of your event. Thank you for your cooperation.

Can we bring food?

Snacks are acceptable depending on the location of the event. Most events will have some type of goodies free and for sale. We are happy to set up an extra table for private parties wishing to serve a cake. Just let us know in advance. No candles, please.
